Your Information and How It Is Used
We use your account details to identify you, protect access and provide iThinkGuru. We store saved Programs, chosen affirmations, voices, backgrounds, goals, listening activity and preferences, together with membership, payment-status and policy-acceptance records.
Optional profile details and goals help personalize encouragement. Suggestions and support messages are associated with your account for review and assistance; suggestions are not shown to other members. When signup contact capture is available, submitted contact details and drafts may be saved before signup is complete. Campaign information helps us understand signups and conversions. Marketing updates are optional; contact us to withdraw your preference.
Clerk provides authentication, Cloudflare hosts application data and audio, and Stripe processes payments when paid checkout is available. These providers handle information needed for their services under their own privacy policies. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information to Guru or support.
Ask Guru, Conversations and AI Services
Guru questions and responses, including submitted voice transcripts, may be retained for service research and legal recordkeeping. Conversation archives are separate from optional personalization memory; turning memory off does not itself delete conversation records. Access is restricted to authorized personnel. Research uses de-identified app-topic information where possible.
When live AI is available, submitted questions and approved, nonsensitive personalization context may be sent through OpenRouter to OpenAI. Those services apply their own privacy and retention policies. Offline help and locally prepared encouragement remain available without an AI request. Ask Guru does not store raw microphone recordings; the current question interface uses text entry. AI responses can be inaccurate and should not be treated as professional advice.
Data Security and Retention
We use access controls and safeguards to protect account information, private audio and conversation records, but no system can guarantee complete security or uninterrupted access.
Retention depends on the purpose of the record and operational or legal requirements. Conversation archives use a finite retention policy where archival storage is enabled; legal holds can delay deletion. Other account, payment and support records may need to remain for service administration or legal obligations.
Access, Correction and Deletion Requests
Contact awaken@ithinkguru.com to request access, correction or deletion, or help closing your account. We verify account ownership before handling requests. These are reviewed requests, not a promise of immediate or automatic account deletion or data export. Legal obligations and legal holds may limit what can be deleted. You retain applicable rights under the law.
Membership, Payments, Cancellation and Refunds
When paid subscriptions are available, Individual membership is $9.99 per month or $99 per year. Friends & Family is $19.99 per month or $199 per year for up to five accounts. Review the price, billing period and any applicable taxes shown at checkout before authorizing payment. Paid subscriptions renew for the selected billing period until canceled; a free account or invitation alone does not authorize a charge.
You may cancel future renewals through available account billing controls or by contacting support. Paid access continues through the current paid billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time, except where required by law.
A first-time subscriber may request a refund of the initial subscription payment within 30 days of the initial paid subscription date. The same eligibility rules apply to Monthly and Annual subscriptions: the initial monthly payment or initial annual payment, respectively. Request the refund from awaken@ithinkguru.com using your account email. A successfully processed full refund cancels future renewal and ends the associated paid membership. Applicable consumer rights are unaffected.
Acceptable Use and Intellectual Property
Use your own authorized account, provide accurate account information and keep your credentials private. Do not bypass membership or security controls, interfere with the service, access another member's data or use iThinkGuru unlawfully.
iThinkGuru branding, artwork, software and audio are protected intellectual property. Your membership permits authorized personal use of the provided content, not redistribution, resale or access to material outside your permissions.
Important Product and Liability Disclosures
iThinkGuru supports personal reflection and a positive listening routine. Affirmations and subliminal listening do not guarantee changes in health, finances, behavior or other outcomes. Successful audio playback is not proof of psychological effectiveness. The service and Guru do not diagnose, treat or replace medical or mental-health care.
Listen at a comfortable volume and stop if listening is uncomfortable. Do not listen when it would distract you from driving or another safety-critical activity.
